The Fort Michilimackinac Pageant Committee along with the re-enactors would like to cordially invite you to join us in our 46th consecutive performance of the Re-enactment at Fort Michilimackinac during Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Memorial Day weekend 2008. This unique performance of the area's rich history is the longest running FREE attraction in the State of Michigan.
Saturday, May 24 9:00 a.m. Fort Michilimackinac opens, Voyageurs Registration, Knife & Hawk throw at the high school. 9:30 am. Spirits of the North: Mackinaw Bay Trading Co. Property Biscuit Toss Competition, Lance Throw, Primitive Archery Competition, Knife & hawk Competition 1:00 p.m. Grand Parade 3:00 p.m. 18th Century Mackinac Fashion Show: At the Fort. 3:30 p.m. Re-enactment: Fort Michilimackinac 6:00 p.m. Spirits VS Voyageurs Hawk, Knife and Primitive Archery Competition at the Performance Court - Mackinaw Crossings. 7:00 p.m. Auction (open to the public) of 18th Century Craft Reproductions: Mackinaw Bay Trading Co. ----------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, May 25 9:00 a.m. Fort Michilimackinac opens, Voyageurs & Spirits of the North Muzzle loading Rifle and Smoothbore Competitions at the rifle range behind the high school. 10:30 a.m. Voyageurs Kids Games at the high school. 1:00 p.m. Fire Lighting Competition Mackinaw Bay Trading Company 2:00 p.m. 18th Century Mackinac Fashion Show: Fort 2:30 p.m. Re-Enactment: Fort Michilmackinac 4:00 p.m. Voyageurs Hoop/Cannon Ball Roll at the high school. 7:00 p.m. Voyageurs Frying pan toss (Cross Dressing) at the high school. 8:00 p.m. Spirits of the North Awards Presentations: MackinawBayTradingCompany.
