JUNE

June 30 - Petoskey Steel Drum Band:
Formed in 1997, the Petoskey Steel Drum Band has become an important part of the instrumental music program in Petoskey.  The group performs throughout the state and has also performed in New Orleans, Orlando, Hawaii, and in the Caribbean. They have recorded 4 cds; Jamaican Me Crazy-1998, Steels Christmas-2000, Steel in Paradise-2003, and Lord of the Pans-2006.

JULY         

July 7 - Blue Water Ramblers
The Blue Water Ramblers' repertoire comes right out of our Michigan life experiences and the history of the Great Lakes region. It includes lakes shanties, lumberman ballads,  union rallying cries, farmers' paeans, Michigan humor, '60s civil rights and protest music, love songs, gospel music and children's ditties. Everyone agrees that these combine into a versatile repertoire to the delight and entertainment of their audiences.

July 10 (Tues) - US Air Force Band of Flight
The Band of Flight consists of 55 full-time professional musicians who are assigned to the Air Force Material Command at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.  The band's ensembles perform for audiences throughout their primary geographic area.  All members of the bad are full-time, professional Air Force musicians working in support of Air Force recruiting, troop morale & community relations objectives.

July 14 - Conga Se Menne
The musical style of Conga Se Menne is impossible to pigeonhole, running the gamut of Blues, Funk, Latin, Reggae, Rock, Caribbean beats and ethnic Finnish sounds.

July 21 - Mad Agnes
A trio of excellent performers from Connecticut plays with an eclectic style that proves their authenticity. Intelligent songwriting, intricate, whimsical harmonies.

July 28 - Dance North
A showcase of Michigan youth performing dance techniques learned at a  "summer intensive", taught by professional dancers from New York City.

AUGUST

Aug. 4 - 5th Michigan Regiment Band
Historical re-creation of a Civil War Regiment "Field" Band consisting of musicians, color guard and support personnel. 

Aug. 11 - Banjo Picker and Friends 
Michigan folk, country, and bluegrass trio group and songs of Michigan!

Aug. 18 - Grand Traverse Chorus of the Sweet Adelines
The Grand Traverse Chorus is Traverse City's oldest vocal ensemble for women. The chorus's purpose is to encourage, and provide opportunity for women to sing, to learn about music, and to promote the Barbershop musical style.
