All new Mackinaw Audio Tours!

Heaaudiotoursr “the rest of the story” as you stroll Mackinaw City this season.

Dial 1-231-486-0003 then dial the stop number located on a historic marker or sign located downtown, at the trails, the Historic Village, Emmet County Headlands or dial a separate number for the Icebreaker Mackinaw Maritime Museum.  You may also go to http://myoncell.mobi/12318460003 to view the online version.

The new Historic Pathways map will be available for pick up at our office prior to the Memorial Day weekend. The stops are marked in Yellow. For a sample of the tour dial in the following stop numbers: 01, 03, 05, 12, 48, 25, 30, 31, 33. Stop 99 features news from the Village and local events and activities.

Thank you Sandy Planisek for all the editing and uploading for the 90 second spots for the Chamber/Village partnership. A new feature for the Historic Pathway this year are the audio stops 901-952 which give  all the information on the historic maker for the visually impaired or for school research projects. As Bill Shepler says “Make Mackinaw City your classroom!”


The free Mackinaw City Historical Pathway Map and guide are also now located at the Chamber of Commerce in the Mackinaw Crossings mall, Village Hall and area businesses.
