Crooked Tree Cabins

Crooked Tree Cabins is located on the shores of Paradise Lake, just a few minutes south of Mackinaw City, Michigan.

Our sunny waterfront, with swim dock and separate boatdock, and children’s play area are perfect for daytime fun. Yet, the charming log cabins are nestled in a camp-like setting among towering pines and oaks.

Each housekeeping cabin is equipped with a gas range, microwave oven, refrigerator-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and service for 6 or more. Bedding includes pillows, one blanket, and one bedspread per bed. Sheets are available at no charge for those who prefer not to bring their own sheets.

Each cabin also has a living-dining area, a bathroom with shower, its own hot water tank, cable tv, and its own outdoor sitting area with chairs, picnic table, grill, and firepit.

Paradise Lake is an all-sports lake, and is known as an excellent spot for fishing bass, northern pike, walleye, and perch. Row boats are available free for your use.

Doll’s Paradise Lake Resort

Doll’s Resort is a small, but clean and quiet, resort/motel located in Northern Michigan, five miles south of Mackinaw City and the Mackinac Bridge, in the village of Carp Lake.

Lodging accommodations for your travel, fishing and vacation plans in the Straits area range from one and two bedroom overnights, to two room kitchenettes and three room efficiency apartments.

All rooms in our units are non-smoking.

Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island KOA

THE MACKINAW CITY KOA IS LOCATED WITH IN THE MACKINAW CITY LIMITS JUST ONE MILE SOUTH OF CITY CENTER AND NEXT TO THE NORTH WESTERN BIKE TRAIL. WE HAVE QUIET, SPACIOUS, WOODED SITES AND A POOL HEATED TO 86 DEGREES.

Mackinac Island is the most spectacular destination in Michigan, and this KOA is a perfect location to stay. Free shuttles to island ferries available. KOA’s nature trail connects to a paved trail into Mackinaw City, where you can explore Colonial Michilimackinac and Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse. Or continue on the trail for miles of hiking/biking. Use this KOA as a base camp for an easy trip across the Mackinac Bridge to Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks and Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum on Lake Superior. Take a scenic drive through Tunnel of Trees and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. You’re less than 2 miles from a Lake Michigan beach. After sightseeing, head back for a swim in the heated outdoor pool and enjoy a campfire. There are sites for everyone: pull-thru/full hookups, pop-ups, tents and Cabins. Pines of Paradise

Pines of Paradise Resort is open May-October, starting with Michigan Spring Season through Fall Colors. Although most of our guests stay for the week, we do make arrangements for long weekends or other shorter duration stays as circumstances allow.  We also specialize in family reunions and can accommodate up to 60 people at a time.  Space for these types of gatherings fill up quickly, so please inquire well in advance of your desired dates.

Our cabins offer a feeling of traveling back in time with their 1930’s vintage charm. Nestled on all-sports Paradise Lake, secluded amongst the pine trees and nature calls of the loons, ducks, frogs, and owls. Truly a relaxing retreat creating moments in time to last a lifetime. After a day of sightseeing at one of the many local attractions, relax under the stars by the fire, or the deck on the bluff overlooking the lake. Gather in the Paradise Lodge, fully equipped with tourist brochures, books, games, puzzles, and cable TV.
