Experience the Power of Rhythm: Join Our Open Community Drum Circle

Here is a great opportunity to participate with others in a cooperative way through the magic of rhythm.  It is a proven stress-reducing activity with the additional benefit of experiencing an exceptional way of connecting with others.

When: Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Where: Mackinaw City Heritage Village Facilitator: Lynn Turner, percussionist from Northern Michigan Drum Village

No matter your experience level, whether you are a seasoned drummer or completely new to the world of rhythm, this drum circle welcomes you with open arms. Guided by Lynn Turner, whose passion for percussion has led her on an incredible journey, you’ll have the opportunity to be included in a special way.  Your unique pulse is vital for the energetic and dynamic group song.

What to Expect:

Discover the joy of rhythm in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Percussive instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
No prior experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
Experience first-hand the collective energy as we create our own unique group rhythm.
Witness the transformative power of music as stress melts away and unique connections are made.
