At the Headlands International Dark Sky Park, we frequently are asked what the best telescope for beginners is. Our answer is a good pair of binoculars. This presentation with NOMAC will discuss various types of binoculars and what accessories you should buy to enhance their use for astronomy. We will also discuss techniques for finding your way around the night sky.
